Position Overview
As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing aircraft avionics systems in accordance with approved data and customer requirements. Work is performed with accuracy, attention to detail, and minimal supervision.
This position supports ongoing MRO maintenance operations on commercial aircraft. This position is offering $1,400 per week at 40 hours not including Overtime. For full pay details including per diem (if qualified) please apply or contact us directly.
Avionics Technician Responsibilities

Repair, modify, install, and perform routine maintenance on aircraft avionics systems with minimal assistance

Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, and engineering orders

Troubleshoot and repair complex avionics systems using deductive reasoning

Properly utilize avionics test equipment to perform system tests

Stay current on new and advanced avionics test equipment

Use and maintain avionics hand tools for repairs and installations

Communicate work progress or issues with leadership and coworkers

Accurately document all work performed in accordance with company and customer maintenance programs

Fabricate wire bundles and assemblies per drawings and standard practices, including marking, securing, and terminating wires into connectors and contacts

Perform other assigned duties as needed
Avionics Technician Requirements

Working knowledge of aircraft avionics systems and their operation

Proven ability to troubleshoot basic avionics issues

Broad knowledge of other aircraft systems, including hydraulics and flight controls

Ability to perform basic to intermediate math functions, including measurements, ratios, and percentages

Demonstrated ability to research and apply standard wiring practices
-
Recent hands-on commercial or military heavy aircraft avionics experience

Reliable transportation required

Valid driver’s license required
