Job Details
This is a contract Avionics Technician position in Tucson with the potential to become long term.
In this role, you will:

Repair, modify, install, and maintain aircraft avionics systems with minimal supervision

Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering documents

Troubleshoot complex avionics systems using deductive reasoning

Operate avionics test equipment to perform system checks and diagnostics

Maintain avionics hand tools and ensure proper tool control

Communicate work progress and technical issues clearly with leadership and coworkers

Accurately document maintenance actions per company and customer programs

Fabricate wire bundles and assemblies per drawings and standard practices
-
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
To qualify for Avionics Technician Tucson roles, candidates must meet the following requirements:

FAA “A” License required

Minimum of 2 years avionics experience or documented equivalent

Corporate jet or commercial aircraft experience preferred

Military avionics maintenance experience is a plus

GROL or AET certification preferred

Avionics or electrical technical school training preferred

Must supply personal tools

Ability to communicate aircraft maintenance actions clearly in English

Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
