Aircraft Interior Technician Responsibilities

Perform aircraft interior installation and repair work

Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions

Fabricate and install interior components using sheet metal and composite techniques

Identify repair areas and complete work per approved documentation

Coordinate with Shift Leads and Engineering on job changes

Remove and install aircraft interior components safely and efficiently

Operate tools including drill presses, brakes, shears, and hand tools

Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards
Aircraft Interior Technician Requirements

Previous experience as an Aircraft Interior Technician

Experience performing interior reconfiguration and repair work

Knowledge of aircraft adhesives, sealants, and interior fasteners

Ability to work with composites, fabrics, and interior materials

Ability to read:

Blueprints

Structural Repair Manuals

Illustrated Parts Catalogs

Engineering drawings and service bulletins

Proficient with common shop equipment and hand tools

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
