Aircraft Seating Upholstery Technician Jobs in Greensboro NC
VP Aviation is hiring an Aircraft Upholstery Technician in Greensboro NC to support repair, refurbishment, and modification of VIP and corporate aircraft seating.
This role supports aircraft interior seating programs within an FAA regulated aircraft interiors environment where quality workmanship and attention to detail are essential.
Job Responsibilities

Repair and refurbish aircraft seating and interior components

Perform upholstery work including sewing, trimming, cutting, and dress cover installation

Disassemble and reassemble aircraft seats and seating mechanisms

Perform foam fabrication, padding, and adhesive bonding

Read work orders, engineering drawings, and upholstery patterns
-
Maintain workmanship standards in accordance with FAA requirements
Required Experience

Aircraft upholstery or aircraft seating experience preferred

Aviation interiors, automotive, marine, or commercial upholstery experience considered

Experience using industrial sewing machines and upholstery tools

Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently while maintaining workmanship standards

Must pass DOT drug and alcohol screening
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Technicians work within an active aircraft interiors production environment supporting VIP and corporate aircraft seating refurbishment programs.

Lift up to 50 lbs

Stand, bend, and perform repetitive hand work

Comfortable working in confined aircraft interior areas
