Avionics Technician – Greenville, SC
VP Aviation is hiring Avionics Technicians to support aircraft maintenance programs in Greenville, South Carolina.
This is a contract opportunity for aircraft technicians with experience in electrical systems, wiring, harness installation, and aircraft modifications. Weekly pay ranges from $1,280 to $1,520 at 40 hours, not including overtime.
Assignments may include fighter aircraft like F-16 or military transport aircraft like C-130 depending on current program needs. Avionics Technician Job Responsibilities
As an Avionics Technician, you may support:
- Electrical harness and component installation
- Wire and cable routing throughout aircraft systems
- Cable termination, crimping, and soldering
- Continuity testing and operational checks
- Troubleshooting and repair of electrical and avionics systems
- Reading schematics, wire diagrams, and engineering drawings
- Support of aircraft modifications, inspections, and installs
- Documentation and safety compliance
Avionics Technician Requirements
To be considered for this Avionics Technician job in Greenville, SC, preferred qualifications include:
- 5+ years of aircraft maintenance / avionics experience
- Aircraft wiring, harness install, and termination experience
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, prints, and technical drawings
- Experience with continuity testing and operational checks

- Modification or production hangar experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
