    Sheet Metal Assembly Technician – Aircraft Production (F-16 Program)

    Location: Greenville, SC
    Job Type: Contract
    Pay: $1,360.00 per week at 40 hours (not including OT)

    Job Overview

    VP Aviation is hiring Sheet Metal Assembly Technicians to support aircraft production on the F-16 program in Greenville, South Carolina. This role focuses on hands-on sheet metal assembly in a production environment and is ideal for technicians with experience in aircraft fabrication, drilling, and fastener installation.

    This position supports critical aircraft build operations and requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and experience working with aircraft sheet metal components.

    No tools are required for this position.

    Sheet Metal Assembly Technician Responsibilities

    • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and fastener layouts

    • Perform precision drilling, reaming, and countersinking

    • Install rivets and fasteners

    • Assemble aircraft sheet metal components

    • Trim and fit parts as required

    • Support aircraft build-up operations

    • Use precision measuring tools

    • Follow build-to-print instructions and quality standards

    Required Experience

    • Aircraft sheet metal or assembly experience

    • Experience with drilling, riveting, and fastener installation

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

    • Comfortable working in a production environment
