Perform Heavy Maintenance Structural Repairs
As a Structures Mechanic, you’ll perform structural repairs and modifications during heavy maintenance visits and C-checks on Boeing and Airbus aircraft. You’ll fabricate, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structural components while working from engineering drawings, technical manuals, and approved maintenance procedures.
This is an open-ended contract, allowing you to continue working as long as performance expectations are met and work remains available.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural repairs during heavy maintenance and C-checks.
- Fabricate, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structural components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Complete assigned work in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
- Accurately document all maintenance performed.
- Use hand tools, gauges, measuring equipment, and specialty tools required for structural repairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Work closely with fellow technicians to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial aircraft structures experience required.
- Heavy maintenance or C-check experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft structural repair techniques.
- Ability to fabricate, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, drawings, and engineering data.
- Experience using aircraft maintenance forms and documentation.
- Must provide your own tools and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Schedule
Candidates must be available to work any shift as assigned.
Shift options include:
- First Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Second Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
