A&P Mechanic – Corporate Aircraft

Location: Teterboro, NJ (New York Area)

VP Aviation is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic in the New York area for a direct hire opportunity supporting business aviation operations. This position supports corporate aircraft based primarily at Teterboro Airport (TEB) and Farmingdale Republic Airport (FRG).

This is a full-time salaried position, not a contract role. The team is seeking a technician with business jet maintenance experience who is looking for a long-term position supporting a fleet of corporate aircraft within a professional flight department.

Aircraft Fleet

• Falcon aircraft

• Gulfstream aircraft

• Helicopter (experience is a plus but not required)

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on corporate aircraft

• Troubleshoot mechanical and system discrepancies

• Coordinate maintenance activities with vendors and service providers when required

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards

• Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance documentation and records

• Support aircraft readiness for flight operations

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant License (Required)

• Previous Falcon and/or Gulfstream experience.

• Experience maintaining corporate or business jet aircraft

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work in a professional flight department environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to aircraft safety

• Stable work history with interest in a long-term position
