A&P Mechanic Wilmington OH Overview
VP Aviation is hiring experienced A&P Mechanics for MRO maintenance work on a variety of commercial aircraft in Wilmington, OH. This contract opportunity is ideal for licensed A&P Mechanics with hands-on experience performing routine and non-routine maintenance in an MRO environment.
As an A&P Mechanic, you will support scheduled maintenance operations, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform repairs in accordance with approved data. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team.
A&P Mechanic – Description of Work
This A&P Mechanic position includes the following responsibilities:

Perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance on commercial aircraft

Repair, modify, replace, and install aircraft components as required

Develop repair schemes using SRM and approved engineering data

Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and drawings

Communicate work progress and challenges with maintenance personnel and leadership

Complete assigned tasks accurately and within required timeframes
Required Experience & Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years aircraft maintenance experience on commercial aircraft

Active A&P License required

Must have own tools and reliable transportation

Intermediate knowledge of aircraft systems and assigned work areas

Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical documentation

Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
