    Structures Mechanic Jobs in Greensboro NC – Position Overview

    As a Structures Mechanic, you will fabricate, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structural components in accordance with approved maintenance data and customer requirements. Work is performed during heavy maintenance and C-checks and requires strong technical ability and documentation accuracy.

    This is a contract position supporting MRO maintenance operations.

    Structures Mechanic Responsibilities

    • Fabricate, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures on commercial aircraft

    • Perform structural repairs using special tools in accordance with company procedures, FAA regulations, and manufacturer maintenance manuals

    • Support heavy maintenance and C-check environments

    • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, drawings, schematics, and maintenance instructions

    • Use tools, gauges, and instruments required to complete assigned work

    • Follow verbal and written instructions and approved maintenance procedures

    • Accurately record work performed and assume responsibility for completed tasks

    • Maintain compliance with all quality and documentation requirements

    Structures Mechanic Requirements

    • Two or more years of aircraft maintenance repair experience

    • Minimum of three years of commercial aircraft structures experience

    • Experience supporting heavy maintenance and C-check operations

    • Thorough knowledge of maintenance forms and documentation required for heavy maintenance

    • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings

    • Working knowledge of aircraft structures fabrication and repair

    • Must have own tools and reliable transportation

    • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
