VP Aviation is hiring an Industrial Seamstress in Greensboro NC to support aircraft seating upholstery work for VIP and corporate aircraft interiors.
This Industrial Seamstress Greensboro NC position focuses on precision sewing and fabrication within an FAA regulated aircraft interiors environment supporting high quality aircraft seating programs.
What You’ll Do

Cut, sew, and assemble aircraft seating upholstery components

Fabricate aircraft seat dress covers using approved patterns and materials

Perform material layout, cutting, and trimming
-
Operate industrial sewing machines and sergers
-
Inspect incoming materials and completed assemblies for quality standards

Maintain clean and organized production work areas
What We’re Looking For
-
Minimum 1 year industrial or commercial sewing experience required
-
Experience in aviation, automotive, marine, furniture, or commercial upholstery environments welcomed
-
Aircraft upholstery or aircraft interiors experience preferred
-
Experience operating industrial sewing machines and upholstery equipment
-
Ability to read patterns and perform precision cutting
-
Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality

Ability to work independently or within a team environment

Reliable transportation required
Physical Requirements

Stand, bend, or sit for extended periods

Perform repetitive hand and sewing tasks

Lift up to 40 lbs
