Structures Mechanic Jobs in Greensboro NC – Position Overview
As a Structures Mechanic, you will fabricate, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structural components in accordance with approved maintenance data and customer requirements. Work is performed during heavy maintenance and C-checks and requires strong technical ability and documentation accuracy.
This is a contract position supporting MRO maintenance operations.
Structures Mechanic Responsibilities

Fabricate, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures on commercial aircraft

Perform structural repairs using special tools in accordance with company procedures, FAA regulations, and manufacturer maintenance manuals

Support heavy maintenance and C-check environments

Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, drawings, schematics, and maintenance instructions

Use tools, gauges, and instruments required to complete assigned work

Follow verbal and written instructions and approved maintenance procedures

Accurately record work performed and assume responsibility for completed tasks

Maintain compliance with all quality and documentation requirements
Structures Mechanic Requirements

Two or more years of aircraft maintenance repair experience

Minimum of three years of commercial aircraft structures experience
-
Experience supporting heavy maintenance and C-check operations
-
Thorough knowledge of maintenance forms and documentation required for heavy maintenance
-
Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings

Working knowledge of aircraft structures fabrication and repair
-
Must have own tools and reliable transportation

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
