VP Aviation is hiring experienced A&P Mechanics in Lake Charles, Louisiana for contract work performing maintenance on Boeing 737 VVIP aircraft.

What You’ll Do
As an A&P Mechanic, you’ll perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, modifications, and component replacements while following manufacturer and engineering documentation.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
- Repair, modify, and replace aircraft components
- Develop repair schemes using SRM or engineering data
- Determine proper repair methods using technical manuals and specifications
- Complete assigned work accurately and on schedule
- Communicate work progress with supervisors and fellow maintenance personnel
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
- Previous commercial aircraft maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, engineering drawings, and technical data
- Your own tools
- Reliable transportation
- Intermediate knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures
