VP Aviation Technical Services is hiring experienced Structures Mechanics for a long-term contract opportunity supporting heavy maintenance on commercial aircraft at an established MRO facility in Lake City, FL. If you have at least 2-3 years of recent commercial aircraft structures experience, this opportunity offers competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and the chance to work alongside experienced aviation maintenance professionals.
Compensation
- $1,200 per week at 40 hours (not including overtime).

Job Responsibilities
As a Structures Mechanic, you will perform structural repairs and modifications on commercial aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, approved maintenance procedures, manufacturer specifications, and engineering requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Fabricate, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structural components.
- Perform structural repairs using approved tools and repair methods.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Perform all assigned work in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
- Accurately document all work performed.
- Maintain compliance with company quality and safety standards.
- Work effectively as part of a professional maintenance team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of recent commercial aircraft structures experience.
- Previous heavy maintenance or MRO experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft structural repair procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and blueprints.
- Proficient in the use of aircraft maintenance tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must provide your own tools and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
