Aircraft Structures Mechanic Responsibilities
As an Aircraft Structures Mechanic, you will:
- Perform structural repairs during heavy maintenance and C-checks on Airbus aircraft.
- Fabricate, repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structural components.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings.
- Complete assigned work using approved maintenance procedures.
- Accurately document completed maintenance.
- Use hand tools, gauges, measuring equipment and specialty tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work with other aircraft technicians to meet production schedules.
Requirements
Qualified candidates should have:
- At least 2 years of commercial aircraft structures experience.
- Previous heavy maintenance or C-check experience preferred.
- Knowledge of aircraft structural repair methods and maintenance documentation.
- Experience fabricating, repairing, replacing and rebuilding aircraft structures.
- Your own tools and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Availability to work any assigned shift.
