    This Aircraft Mechanic Jacksonville Florida position is a contract role supporting commercial aircraft in an MRO hangar environment. Mechanics will perform routine maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and component replacement while following approved data and established maintenance procedures. Whether you are an experienced A&P Mechanic or an unlicensed technician with strong hands-on skills, this opportunity offers steady work, consistent scheduling, and the chance to support a busy maintenance operation in Jacksonville.

    OVERVIEW

    • Contract position supporting MRO aircraft maintenance

    • Work includes inspection, repair, modification and troubleshooting of aircraft systems

    • Duties assigned based on experience level and license status

    • Must follow all approved data, maintenance procedures and documentation requirements

    • Steady work environment with support from experienced team members

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • For Licensed Mechanics (A&P or A License):

      • FAA A&P or Airframe (A) License

      • Must have own tools

      • Must have reliable transportation

      • Ability to read and interpret manuals, service bulletins and drawings

      • Effective communication with coworkers and leadership

      For Unlicensed Mechanics:

      • Previous aircraft maintenance experience required

      • Must have own tools

      • Must have reliable transportation

      • Ability to follow instructions and support licensed mechanics

      • Strong attention to detail and solid mechanical aptitude
