This Structures Mechanic Tampa Florida contract position supports commercial aircraft maintenance in a busy MRO environment. Structures Mechanics will fabricate, repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structures in accordance with approved data, company procedures and FAA requirements. Work includes structural inspections, component repairs and the use of sheet metal tools and special tooling as required.

Requirements

2 or more years of aircraft maintenance or structures experience

Thorough knowledge of heavy maintenance documentation requirements

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints

Efficient use of tools, gauges and instruments

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Ability to complete assigned work using approved procedures

Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Strong working knowledge of aircraft structural repairs

Must have own tools and reliable transportation
