VP Aviation is hiring A&P Mechanics for corporate aircraft maintenance support at a new hangar facility in Tampa, Florida. This contract-to-direct opportunity is ideal for aircraft maintenance professionals with experience on business jets who are ready for consistent work and clear expectations.
Pay and Schedule
Offering $1,200 to $2,000 per week at 40 hours, not including overtime. Pay is based on experience and determined after interview.

- Monday through Friday
- Shift options: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Occasional off-hours or weekend work may be required
Scope of Work
- Perform maintenance and inspections on corporate/business aircraft
- Ensure all work meets Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards
- Manage maintenance tracking and coordinate with outside providers
- Maintain an organized and professional hangar environment
- Troubleshoot aircraft discrepancies and complete repairs
Minimum Requirements
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P)
- 3 to 5 years of experience on one or more of the following:
PC-12, Falcon 2000, Cessna 500 series, or CJ3 - Working knowledge of FAR 135 regulations
- Experience with CAMP or CMP maintenance tracking systems
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Tools required
Preferred Experience
- Inspection Authorization (IA)
- Previous AOG support experience
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot aircraft systems
