Ana’s journey in aviation commenced with VP Aviation as an Aviation Recruiting Specialist. With a deep-seated passion for aiding others, she has found her calling in assisting Aircraft Maintenance Technicians in securing fulfilling and suitable employment opportunities. We had the privilege of asking Ana a few questions about her role at VP and her vision for making a meaningful impact on the aviation industry.
What do you love most about your job as a Recruiter with VP Aviation?
I love the fact that I am empowered to be myself and given the freedom to openly voice my opinion. VP Aviation has given me the confidence to continuously try different recruiting strategies and bring my personality to work. Our team here is incredible, starting from the leadership to my fellow recruiters, everyone works together to achieve our goals and we have a lot of fun together.
How does your work impact the aviation industry?
It is so rewarding to place a candidate in a job that is a right fit for them and their families. I take pride and joy in seeing my candidates excel in their work. From the first connection with the mechanics to the day one on the job, I am with them every step of the way. The life of a contractor is not easy, and I am here to support them and make the process as seamless as possible. I am humbled and privileged to work in this field, and I am striving to learn as much as possible about the aviation industry. The more we understand the “WHY” behind our clients’ and candidate needs, the better we can solve their issues.
Who / What motivates you to excel in your career?
I am motivated by being a good example to my daughters. I want them to know that sky is the limit once you find your purpose in life – hard work and resilience are the ingredients for success. Also, our team here at VP Aviation, is my motivator to push hard and grow our great business.
